Welder/Fabricator

Welder/Fabricator required for our expanding manufacturing team that specialises in Agricultural machinery, Structural Steel, Bespoke products and Stainless Steel. We are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled welders/fabricators to become a part of our production team.

Job Description:

  • Ideally, candidates would have experience with MIG and Arc welding ideally on heavy plant and equipment.
  • Safe-Pass, Manual Handling, and Abrasive Wheel training is not essential but preferable.
  • Tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting or grinding parts as per drawing requirements.
  • Essential that candidates can read and understand shop drawings.
  • Upon employment, candidates must undergo and pass a basic weld test.
  • Candidates must work to CE EN1090 criteria.
  • Complete all work in a timely manner
  • Must work within health & safety working procedures at all times
  • Having a SOLAS recognised Trades Certification or a similar standard is greatly advantageous but not essential.

Trainee Floor Manager

Trainee Floor Manager required for our expanding team that specializes in Agricultural machinery, Structural Steel, Bespoke products as well as Stainless Steel. We are looking for personal with excellent organizational and multitasking skills, ability to balance immediate/long term jobs. Duties include distributing production work, monitoring orders, completion dates and help solving production problems, to ensure customer’s orders on time delivery and satisfaction.

Job Description:

  • Ideally, have experience working in management
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the production teams have the required components
  • Providing technical support to the production teams
  • Can respond well to urgent requirements from the customers
  • Detail-orientated, ability to multi-task / prioritize with strict deadlines.

  • Flexibility in line with business requirements.

  • A background and/or relevant experience in the construction or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of demonstrating continuous improvement with respect to all tasks and activities
  • Safe Pass, Mobile Plant, Abrasive Wheels, etc Certification advantages but not required
  • Be able to work to the highest safety standards in accordance with National Regulations
  • Complete all work in a timely manner
