Keltec’s Dissolved Air Flotation Tanks (DAF) is an efficient flotation method for water clarification.
This is done by dissolving air into water under pressure and then releasing the pressure. This creates a supersaturated solution, where millions of small bubbles form. These bubbles attach to any particles in the water that they meet and carry them to the surface. The scraper at the top of the tank will run along the top of the water and push all the waste into a separate shoot, leaving the clarified water behind.
We design and manufacture both the tank and scraper systems for these DAF Units. These Units can be provided in both galvanized and stainless steel.
