Keltec’s Travelling Bridges remove grit and grease from rectangular tanks. There is one surface scraper and one bottom scraper installed underneath the bridge.
The tank has two main parts, one to settle grit and the other to collect grease. The bridge travels back and forth along the tank, traveling one way, it pushers the settled grit into the grit collection hopper using the bottom scraper. Running in the opposite direction it collects scum and floating particles using the surface scraper.
These bridges can be supplied in both galvanized and stainless steel.
Keltec’s Dissolved Air Flotation Tanks (DAF) is an efficient flotation method for water clarification.
This is done by dissolving air into water under pressure and then releasing the pressure. This creates a supersaturated solution, where millions of small bubbles form. These bubbles attach to any particles in the water that they meet and carry them to the surface. The scraper at the top of the tank will run along the top of the water and push all the waste into a separate shoot, leaving the clarified water behind.
We design and manufacture both the tank and scraper systems for these DAF Units. These Units can be provided in both galvanized and stainless steel.
With over 30 years of experience, Keltec has an excellent reputation when it comes to producing high-quality long-lasting products. We have installed a number of Clarifiers across Ireland, all still in use today.
Keltec Clarifiers are designed to be efficient sludge treatment and water recovery systems while keeping maintenance levels low. Our clarifiers remove sludge and floating particles from circular tanks in both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
Wastewater enters the tank through a central cylinder which spreads the liquid. The heavier sludge settles at the bottom of the tank while the scum and other light particles float to the surface.
The slowly rotating bridge has two scrapers, the first is at the bottom of the tank and guides the sludge into the central sump. The second is a surface scraper that gathers the floating particles and pushes them into the scum box.
With over 30 years of experience Keltec has produced its fair share of platforms.
Keltec supplies all types of platforms, stairs, and ladders in GMS, stainless steel, and aluminum or in any combination e.g. GMS structure with stainless handrails, etc.

Introducing our new and innovative fire suppression system which is capable of delivering 2800 litres per minute to the source of the blaze to swiftly extinguish the fire. This in comparison to a standard sprinkler system can be focused at the centre of the fire which in turn saves valuable goods which may have been stored in a near location. The main purpose of the product is to cut out the waiting time between the start of the fire and the arrival of the fire brigade by which time the fire has the potential to have burnt the building to the ground.
With 43% of response times taking between 10 and 20 minutes on average, the possible cost due to loss of time, revenue and building costs far outweighs the initial cost of the device. This device is essential to protect your business from the hidden fees which come with sustaining fire damage. The water cannon has an initial cost but requires little to no maintenance when installed. The water cannon features a handheld controller which is used to direct the flow of water at the fire, with 360 degrees of rotation the fire is never out of reach. An additional feature which can be requested is a live feed controller, with the aid of a thermal camera to pierce the dense smoke gives the operator a bird’s eye view of the blaze.
